How to Create a Blog Website

How to Create a Blog Website

Blog posts allow you to create lists of content where you can post your ideas and thoughts on various topics. They also allow visitors (if permitted) to interact with your website and submit their own view points on the topics that you create. In this post, we will show you how to create a blog website page with our blog builder. Lets get started!

The first thing you need to do is create a new page. Click the “Pages” menu, then add a new page. Name the page something like blog website or online blog. Once this has been done, click the “Builder” icon to launch the visual designer. Now move over to the content template area, and drag and drop a T-Blog component onto the page. This component displays all the posts that you create in the WordPress “Posts” section. Each time you create a new post, this component will display the blog content.

The screen print below shows how easy it is to create a blog post using the blog website builder.

All you need to do is link a menu on your website to the new blog page that you created, then you are all done!

We timed ourselves to see just how long it would take to create a blog site. We took 8 minutes and twenty three seconds to lay down the basic blog setup. We did however exclude the time it would take to write a single blog post.

Нello! I just wɑnted t᧐ ask if you ever have any issues
with hackers? My laѕt blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing months of
hard work duе to no backup. Do you have any solutions to prevent
hackerѕ?

Hi, Sorry to hear that you lost your work. This can be very frustrating! We always schedule daily backups of our website. Some backups are for the database and others of the full website. To prevent hackers use iThemes security and change the URL of your administrator login form. I also suggest reducing the iThemes lockout attempts to approx 3 to prevent brute force attacks. Other than that, all your can really do is ensure you have a strong password and that your plugins auto update on WordPress.
